Announcement: ContactCentres.be seminar on speech technology implementations in Belgium


Over the last years, speech technology has played an increasingly important role in Belgian contact centres.

Within ContactCentres.be, the professional association of contact centres in Belgium, I’m chairing a Speech Technology Workgroup which assembles representatives from all major players active on the local market. On November 9, 2006, we organize a half-day seminar “Speech Applications: Customer Experiences in Belgium” with speakers from Banksys, EDA, Brugmann Hospital, BASF and Dexia Direct Private. Venue is the NCI Business Centre in Diegem.

All speakers will share operational customer implementations and focus on the business case and the end user experience. They will be assisted by representatives from partner companies responsible for the implementation. I myself will explain how I implemented the voice authentication system for Dexia Direct Private, in collaboration with Dimension Data and Nuance.
